My current litter and the next one on the way. Listings are updated the moment a puppy's status changes — a puppy marked "available" really is available today.
Photos coming soon — sketches stand in for now. Every litter is photographed at three weeks, once the colours settle. Until then, the thumbnails below show a generic sketch until the photo session happens.
Everything else — sex, colour, date of birth, price, vaccinations, microchip, papers — is accurate.
I don't work on a first-come, first-served basis. After we talk — email, phone or a visit — I put your family down for the litter that suits you.
Matching happens around week five or six, right when I'm drawing each puppy individually. It's while watching them for the sketch that I notice who follows everywhere, who settles alone, who's unbothered by anything — and that's what decides which puppy goes to which family, not the colour picked from a photo.
A $500 deposit confirms your reservation, applied to the total price. Refundable if the litter doesn't produce a puppy that suits you.
Because it forces me to really watch each puppy instead of snapping a quick photo. A sketch takes time — enough to notice each one's temperament. Every adopting family receives their puppy's original sketch, framed.
With the right family, an excellent one. They're sharp, playful and deeply bonded, and generally do well with school-age children. But they also need daily exercise and mental stimulation — without it, they get bored and invent their own activities, rarely compatible with your furniture.
No, and that's on purpose. Matching is based on observed temperament, not coat colour. A very dominant puppy placed with young children is a problem that shows up a year later. I present the puppy or puppies that suit your household, and you decide from there.
First round of vaccinations, complete deworming, a microchip registered in your name, a veterinary exam in the days before departure, a health record, CKC registration papers, and your puppy's original sketch, framed.
Yes. A two-year guarantee against serious hereditary conditions, provided in writing at contract signing. It covers replacement or refund, your choice. I also hand over both parents' screening results (PLL and patellas).
Between three and eight months depending on timing. With only two or three litters a year, puppies are often spoken for before they're born. Join the waiting list — I notify listed families as soon as a mating is confirmed.
